Woodhill Cottages is a family-run holiday let business featuring a variety of country-style venues including cottages and a cute and cosy shepherd’s hut, in and around the picturesque villages of Skidby & Walkington in East Yorkshire, and Slingsby in North Yorkshire.
We also offer 10 ensuite rooms in the popular and beautiful village of Walkington, in East Yorkshire. All of our properties are based in safe and tranquil settings, within easy reach of local amenities, and a short drive from the beautiful east coast, the vibrant market towns of Beverley and York with their rich cultural and culinary scenes, the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds and the more dramatic scenery of the North York Moors.
Many of our properties feature beneficial arrangements with local leisure facilities including golf courses, giving you access to good value sporting activities and pampering opportunities during your stay with us.
And you have the added peace of mind that, as a family-run business, these properties are our passion. We’re committed to ensuring your stay is the best it can be, and are always on-hand to help you settle in, dealing promptly with any unanticipated issues which might arise during your stay.
All our accommodation comes with essential items such as towels and bed linen provided. As an added touch, we provide a welcome pack of local goodies and essentials like milk for you on arrival, and in season you’ll even be greeted by a bunch of beautiful blooms from our own garden.
We can take short, medium, long-stay and block bookings, and often accommodate large family groups getting together to celebrate a special occasion.
Located in the countryside, we understand the importance of protecting our environment as much as we can, so many of our properties feature solar panels and we provide you with eco-friendly alternatives for things like washing up liquid wherever possible.
With our own livery yard just across the road from our East Yorkshire cottages, we can even accommodate your horses or other larger livestock during your stay should you be taking part in one of the many local farming and equestrian events and need to bring them with you.
Most of our properties are on the ground floor and therefore easily accessible for elderly guests and others with limited mobility.
